The Dream

After starting Free as a Bird Rescue in November 2014, we now can cope with most ailment, injuries, scenarios and more when it comes to rescuing and rehabbing these beautiful birds.

I often take time out on my hill looking over our property to reflect on a rescue we have had or a hen that passed away and I really wanted to share the view with you I have. I really do love making a difference in the lives of these girls and looking down on where they rehab and recover seals this journey for me even more. To think when we started we had 1 coop and only a dream to free the caged.
